2007 WHOA High Point awards
The 2007 Walking Horse Owner’s Association High Point rules are: for a horse to receive points, the owner of the horse must be a current member of the Walking Horse Owners' Association and must be the registered owner on the papers at the TWHBEA.  Only National Horse Show Commission Shows, Kentucky HIO Shows and Western International Shows are counted for the Annual WHOA High Point presentation at the WHOA Convention.

The Walking Horse Owners' Association High Point Versatility Shows are counted from the Versatility Shows that are sponsored by WHOA, like the National High Point Program; the owner must be a member of WHOA to receive points.  Shows must be affiliated with the NHSC, KY HIO, or Western International.

WHOA’s Register of Merit (ROM) program was established by WHOA in 1989.  The ROM Program has been adopted to provide the Plantation Horse and its exhibitors a showcase for the versatility of the Tennessee Walking Horse.  Owners are responsible for keeping up with their points.  Points may be obtained at any affiliated show.  Unaffiliated shows will only count if they use a Judge who holds a Judges License from a recognized licensing organization, i.e. 4H, AQHA, ASHA, RHBA, etc. To be included in the ROM program, owners must be members of WHOA.

For more information you may contact the WHOA office at 615-494-8822.
