2008 Clinic Series
Rising Glory Farm is pleased to announce their 2008 Equine Educational Clinic Series.

Located only fifty miles south of Nashville in Lewisburg, Rising Glory Farm is featuring throughout 2008 various horsemanship clinics with TOP Named Clinicians. These clinicians have been selected due to their natural horsemanship methods of communicating with horses in various equestrian disciplines.

If you choose to participate with your horse in one or all of these clinics or audit them you will not be disappointed. Our goal is to provide equine enthusiasts an opportunity to expand their horsemanship knowledge, riding ability and develop that extra edge when competing on the rail, in dressage, or in various versatility events.

Backgrounds on the clinicians and clinic details can be found at www.risinggloryfarm.com under the events page.

Starting 2008 is Mr. Mark Russell, author of the book Lessons in Lightness. Mark successfully combines his background of Iberian Dressage with Natural Horsemanship concepts. He possesses a mastery of equine ergonomics and a remarkable ability to connect with horses. Mark helps ALL horses achieve lightness, responsiveness, balance, flexibility and strength that in time becomes a dance between the horse and rider. Mark instills his quiet energy into horses, releasing tension, and opening blocks which visibly transforms the horse into a graceful, willing, and capable partner. Mark will be at RGF January 26&27; April 19&20; July 19&20; and October 18&19.
Following Mark will be Tennessee’s own Horse Whisperer Mr. Sam Powell. Sam’s weekend clinic is designed with the competitor in mind. Regardless of the events in which you show your horse, you will learn the importance of achieving a winning attitude with you and your horse. You will learn how to make your horse a more willing partner, how to improve your riding and handling skills, how to recognize and overcome arena sourness and much more. Come join us and Sam at one of the following clinics: February 23&24; June 21&22; September 6&7; and November 22&23.

June 5 -7, 2008 will feature three full days with Larry Whitesell and his Gaited Horsemanship Clinic. Larry is an internationally known Gaited Horse Clinician and has been training gaited horses for over 25 years. After being very successful in the show ring and as a Judge, he spent time learning classical training. Larry now trains ALL gaited breeds to gait by teaching them to engage the hind legs. He also focuses on collection without using gimmicks or tricks, just sound training methods. You will learn how to improve Gait without devices, develop the horse gymnastically to facilitate relaxation, flexibility and balance, build engagement to improve gait without building resistance, how you ride affects your horse’s balance and gait, exercises to help your horse gait smoother and more.

Jennifer Bauer after apprenticing with Larry Whitesell for five years has now been making her mark as a Gaited Horse Clinician both in the USA and Canada. Besides attending equine events and holding clinics around the US and Canada we are fortunate to have Jennifer’s five day clinic October 7 – 11 at Rising Glory Farm. Jennifer focuses on equitation and gaited horse problems. She is an accomplished rider and has studied under well-known equestrians.

Mark your calendars, check out our website (www.risinggloryfarm.com), sign up for one or all of these clinics and come have some fun as you improve your relationship with your horse.
