AFFILIATES
TENNESSEE WALKING HORSE NATIONAL CELEBRATION
The National Horse Show Commission is
pleased to announce that on Wednesday July 18, 2007 at
approximately 2:30 p.m. the Tennessee Walking Horse National
Celebration chose to affiliate with the NHSC. The NHSC is
pleased to continue our long standing affiliation with the
Celebration.
The NHSC had also hoped that the same
relationship could have continued with the 2007 TWHBEA
Futurity. However, TWHBEA’s expectations were that the NHSC licensed
judges were to officiate at the 2007 Futurity under TWHBEA
rules and regulations.
NHSC rules and regulations clearly
state that judges are not permitted to participate as
officials at any other HIO sanctioned show which has their
own set of rules to abide by. Immediate termination
of their NHSC license would occur should they choose to do
so.
The NHSC wishes TWHBEA and their
National Futurity the best and hopes that we can work with
them in the future.
We look forward to continuing our over
30 year relationship with the Celebration and expect this
2007 show to be one of the best ever.
