The WHOA Youth Challenge is a program to encourage participation
in Youth 17 & Under Performance Canter classes around the
country. It promotes the challenge among our youth to learn and
become proficient at the canter. This program will provide a
total of $3,000 in scholarship money for the top five High Point
winners each year. The program is available to all Horse
Industry Organizations (HIO’s) that offer Youth 17 & Under
Performance Canter classes. All youth 17 years of age and under
are eligible and points are accumulated by the rider and not the
horse.
Horse Show managers who would like to host a WHOA Youth
Challenge class should contact the WHOA office and complete
their application at least 21 days prior to their show.
